Book in an appointment with one of our pharmacists to get your flu vaccination. It is recommended by the Australian Government that anyone who is over the age of 6 months old should get the flu vaccination every year*. The vaccine can help prevent you from getting the influenza virus and protect the people around you who may be more susceptible. The more people who get the flu vaccine each year limits the likeliness of the virus spreading throughout communities. Every year the strains of the flu virus change, and therefore the vaccine composition is re-examined and updated as necessary.
What to know in preparation for your appointment:
- Arrive 5 minutes early to your appointment
- You will be required to sign a consent form and may be asked some questions regarding your previous health
- You do not need a prescription
- You will need to stay in store for 15 minutes after your appointment for an observation period
